How we handle your information.

When you request a quote, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, business, shipping ZIP code, equipment make or model, part requirements, quantity and message. When you order, checkout may collect contact, billing, delivery and payment-related information required to complete the transaction. If you contact support, we may receive an order reference, machine details, photographs or correspondence.

Your saved cart, quote list and machine fleet can be stored in your browser so you can return to the same shopping context. This browser storage is not a customer account by itself.

Site hosting, operational monitoring and checkout services may process technical information such as your IP address, browser, device, pages requested, and error or performance diagnostics. We use these services to operate, secure and improve the storefront. Browser settings can restrict certain cookies or site storage, but doing so may affect saved carts and shopping features.

We use relevant information to respond to inquiries, confirm equipment and part requirements, provide pricing, process and fulfill orders, coordinate delivery, support returns or warranty requests, prevent fraud, maintain records and meet legal obligations. We do not need your payment card number in an email or quote request; never send card details in those messages.

Heavy Iron uses third-party infrastructure and services to operate the storefront, including Vercel hosting, Supabase data services and Stripe-hosted checkout for payment processing. Shipping providers and fulfillment partners may receive information necessary to complete an order. Those providers may process information under their own applicable terms and privacy notices.

Card payment information is entered into Stripe-hosted checkout; the storefront does not ask you to submit card numbers through its quote form. We do not represent that every external provider is controlled by Heavy Iron.

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for orders, support, recordkeeping, security, dispute handling or legal obligations. Actual retention may differ by record type or service provider. We use operational access controls and security measures, but no internet service can promise absolute security.

Depending on your location, applicable law may provide rights to request access, correction or deletion of personal information, or to object to certain processing. Please contact us to make a request. We may need to verify identity and may retain records when required by law or ongoing transactions.

If you use saved machine and cart features, your browser settings can clear that device's stored data.
